I grew up in St. John's, Newfoundland in the grand era where computers were new, internet was a rumour and BBS' were the answer to everything. It was amazing to me the potential of every new technology discovery and I was 'all in' right from the get go. Being lucky enough, I began working with IBM when they were just starting to install computers in banks and I already had a few years of tinkering with old computers. From there, I've been deep into all technology and haven't stopped yet. I come from an age where you don't just learn technology, but understand it and live it. This has helped me become a jack of many trades and a great solver of problems. Being able to draw on 20+ years of experience to think outside the box has helped me be the 'GO TO' guy when difficult IT situations arise.
I currently live and work in Calgary, Alberta with clients mostly in the Oil and Gas fields. My passions lie in application development, new technologies, camping and travelling.
